Microsoft SCCM System Engineer (m/f/x)
Responsibilities
• Active participation in the design, implementation, and further development of Microsoft Endpoint Management solutions (SCCM, optionally Intune Co-Management)
• Support for individual projects in corporate environments and for external customers
• Configuration, operation, and maintenance of SCCM environments according to best practices and security guidelines
• Packaging and distribution of software, patches, and operating systems (Task Sequences, OSD, Windows images, scripting with PowerShell, Batch)
• Analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of infrastructure issues (5%) and client/Windows issues (95%) as well as optimization of existing deployments
• Interaction with customers through meetings and workshops (e.g., requirements gathering, analysis, improvement suggestions)
Profile
• Experience and knowledge in the following areas are advantageous:
Operation and project work with Microsoft SCCM (including software packaging, patch management, OS deployment)
MCTS certification for System Center Configuration Manager or equivalent certifications
PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting
Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM)
Administration of Windows Server and Windows Client environments
Knowledge of Active Directory, GPO/GPP, file services
Experience with cloud provider deployments (Azure, optionally AWS) is a plus
Understanding of security and compliance requirements
