Job Description:
Indus Net Technologies is looking for an experienced Business Analyst specializing in General Insurance and Risk Analysis to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance domain, risk assessment methodologies, and business analysis practices. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders to analyze business needs, define requirements, and contribute to the successful execution of insurance-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth analysis of general insurance products, risk assessment models, and underwriting processes.
Gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to insurance and risk management.
Work closely with underwriters, actuaries, and insurance professionals to enhance risk models.
Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure seamless implementation of insurance solutions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within insurance operations.
Perform data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards in all business processes.
Facilitate meetings, document findings, and communicate insights effectively with stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years of experience in General Insurance, Risk Analysis, or a related field.
Strong understanding of insurance underwriting, claims processing, policy administration, and risk assessment.
Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, documentation, and process modeling.
Hands-on experience with data analysis tools, reporting dashboards, and risk assessment models.
Familiarity with insurance regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent).
Experience with insurance software platforms and risk management tools.
Knowledge of SQL, Excel, Power BI, or other analytical tools for data-driven insights.
